An addiction to intensity. If it doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t work.

That idea has its place but it completely ignores the subtle realms and its nuances that make the real difference between sameness and greatness, because anyone can hurt themselves.

The Hollywood hyperbole of the sports performance chase always comes with the same bullshit, you hurt yourself to greatness. No, you finesse yourself to that, you listen your way to it.

Many of us live life forcing square pegs into round holes because that’s what we taught. This is not something you force yourself into, it's something you force into yourself.

You have to learn how to expand in it, bring more of yourself to it, because thats where your real talent lies. Your potential is unique to who you are, not to who you think you should be.

So here’s the thing:

This is not a campaign of misery!

If you are miserable in it, you are resistant in it. You can’t resist your way to success.

You have to open your heart to it.

You have to unfold, open yourself, expose yourself.

It’s a vulnerability that opens you to the subtle realms that can actually open your listening to a level where you can also allow the pain to be there.

It’s not a hanging on, it’s a letting go.

It’s to let go of everything you are not.

You can get it if you let it!
