Wreckage

Mental Skills

If it breaks, it breaks for a reason. Don’t do the same, do different. It’s not about being courageous either, that just confirms that you are afraid.

Find peace in the pain!! Because fighting with pain is pain.

The wrestle, the wrong turns and the wreckage is how we grow.

We have this idea that it shouldn’t be a wrestle, that it should be linear. There’s this idea that growth is a pathway.

There is no path, intention is the direction, a plan is a compass at best, action is the mover, but trust and faith are the prime movers.

Keep tuning into what you want to feel, especially when you don’t feel that way.

Fear of failure often chokes the shit out of development, then we freak out not wanting the experience we are having because it doesn’t fit the mental picture. That’s a trap too, because running away from fear is fear too.

Feel it, don’t think it.

Shit sometimes has to fall apart so you can rebuild in a stronger way.

Letting it go means letting it happen!

We often go sifting through the wreckage to try and put the pieces back together again, and even if we could, they’d never go back in the same order.

If it breaks, it breaks for a reason. Don’t do the same, do different.

It’s not about being courageous either, that just confirms that you are afraid.

In the end, the falling apart, the wreckage, the wrong paths and the fear return us to a place of power, but only if you let the pain teach you.

This is how we find peace in the pain and the chaos. This is how we find strength in the wrestle. This is how we build a fortress from the wreckage.

The strongest roots grow in the harshest soil.

So thank you discomfort, thank you pain and thank you fear.

Your time here is not refundable. Don’t waste it fighting with what is.

Find your peace in it.
